Description

Block print on rectangular paper with calligraphy and block print of the god of war, Hachiman, holding bow and arrows. Title in Japanese at the top of the image: 鶴岡八幡宮御影. A handwritten note by the collector Maxwell Sommerville reads: "The God of War Hachiman, Temple, Kamakura Japan, 1.4.95".
