Description | Partially restored. Approximately 90 pieces, many glued together.Nearly complete base, much of wall and shoulder, stubs of handles and complete neck plus most of rim preserve. Patterns: egg on rim; a small tongue pattern on top of shoulder, larger tongue pattern in handle zone; egg pattern around base of handle; large tongue pattern and maeander on lower body. Otherwise black glazed. Glaze wash over all interior. Vessel in four sections plus fragments at time of cataloguing. |
