Description | Wall fragment of probably closed vessel. Interior probably unglazed, though there are traces of black which also appears on breaks. Exterior surface reserved with decoration in yellowish-brown paint. To one side are 3 straight parallel lines. Beside them is a large curvilinear design of 6 parallel lines. Rather soft, light brown clay. Identification by Nicolas Coldstream on visit 8 Apr 82. |
