Description | Wooden Katsina doll carved from one piece of wood. The face is painted white with vertical lines on the cheeks and dots above the eyes. The hair is painted white and tied up in two whorls. A painted white cloth is worn around the neck. A painted blanket with decorated edges is worn over the shoulders and a painted dress is worn underneath. A jar with scapulae is held in one hand and leaves of a plant in the other.
