Description | Wooden Katsina doll carved from one piece of wood. The face is painted black with large, yellow eyes. Long hair cascades down the sides and back and a long beard hangs below a wide, rectangular mouth. A blanket is worn around the shoulders and a dress is worn around the body over a yellow, sleeved garment. A staff is carried in one hand and a knife in the other.
