Description | Ceramic Male figurine. Red glaze, hollow (hole in top of head). Seated, holding an object in right hand that looks like this; Hand holds the stem at the base of the top part. Left hand rests on object, which in turn, rests on knee. The object is rounded in shape, with 15 small knobs of clay in two rows around the opening. There is a carved, fin-like extension of clay around the outside of the object. There are two shoulder ornaments on the figure (clothes?). Features of head are well-defined. Ears are pierced, and man is wearing a head ornament. |
