Description | Reretan. Biconical jar with flaring rim and round base. Snake and sun pattern decoration. Traditionally used as bridewealth among upper class and treated as heirlooms. This pot was made as part of the revival of the aboriginal pottery industry by Saguliu of the Pavavalong family in Parilaiyan, a northern Paiwan village. |
