The vessel is painted red with white stripes on the handles. There are four raised snakes in relief on the shoulder and neck. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior and a scraped finish on the interior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color.
