Description | Fragments of Spinning Top (?) Hard red pottery (most of them red all through but some dark grey flecked with red); probably clay mised with red ochre. Very Heavy. Parts of circular disks varying from about 1.24 to 2.25 in. diameter and from 1/8 to 1/2" in thickness. Most of them had a hole 1/4" or 3/8 in diameter in centre. Some are plain but the greater number have incised designs; some are groved around the rim. |
