Description | Narrow oval mask, with face entirely in lower half. Eyes inlaid with cowrie shells (one missing). Painted facial decoration: circular spots on cheeks, repeated crescents above and below mouth. Red, white, black pigment. Incised decoration in top half:repeated pairs of arcs, in four vertical rows. Unpigmented. Lozenge-shaped projection at top, pierced, with fiber tied through. |
