Description | Black ware firing buff; painted red. Animal or human head highly conventionalized. So mutilated that it is impossible to conjecture missing portions. A vertical row of holes for the nose, protruding and incised circles for the eyes, protruding ridge for the mouth with row of holes on its upper surface. At the sides of the head are two raised surfaces decorated with incised lines and dotted circle (also incised). At back, a hole runs through from one side to the other. |
