Description | Canoe paddle made of pono wood. Lanceolate blade with a knobbed protrusion at the tip. Commissioned by Ward Goodenough when he was doing fieldwork on Romonum in 1964. He asked to have the best paddle maker on the island produce two paddles of the highest quality. This one is nearly a matched pair with 2013-18-3, which is slightly longer. |
