Description | Warp: \ wool; ud. Weft: \/ linen; ud: \ wool; ud, dark-blue and red. Technique: Tapestry over one warp. Emb. with \/ linen. A, B, and E are fragments of clavus bands and knee panels. C is a knee panel. D is a shoulder panel. Oblong panels, alternate ones carrying an oval, all filled with interlace. See Class III (E 1443, card 5). |
