Description

Large curved fragment of shell, nearly a half circle, with triangular cross-section. Smooth, white. Large chip at one end. Tape label reading “Polle.” Surface archaeological find. One of a collection of shell objects and fragments, mostly segments of rings, found together in an approximately 10 by 2 foot area of storm eroded beach on Polle Island.
