Description | Curved fragment of shell (Conus sp,?), triangular cross-section one end, flat the other, serrated along half of the outer edge at the flat end (5 large points). Deep spiral grooves on the inner side (grooved base of conus shell?). White. One of a collection of shell ornaments and fragments, mostly segments of rings, found together in an approximately 10 by 2 foot area of storm eroded beach on Polle Island. |
