Description | Curved fragment of shell (Conus sp.?), triangular cross-section. Some serration at the end of the outer edge. Inner surface grooved. White, somewhat discolored on inner surface. Tape label reading “Polle.” One of a collection of shell ornaments and fragments, mostly segments of rings, found together in an approximately 10 by 2 foot area of storm eroded beach on Polle Island. |
