Description | Curb bit and reins. Silver plated with a star, and leaf designs. Straps of braided horsehair with pink, blue, green, and orange diamond designs. Some brown leather rosette at top. Glass bridle button with reindeer head where forehead strap joins cheek strap and with dog where nose strap joins. Black horsehair tassels where bit chain joins reins. Pair of grey tassels and pink between eyes, grey tassels elsewhere. Extra loops. Reins joined at further end through which quirt in same style is looped. Grey tassel at mid-point of quirt, brown at end. Prob. Mexican made. Cultural identification: AFE |
