Description | White cotton ground with red cross stripes at both ends. Brocading in silk, purple, pink, green and one little bird figure in red cotton. Animal figurines. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 80 epi, single, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 36 ppi, single, Z twist, white cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplemental weft - two faced. 3 panels - 3 selvedges each. Made on a backstrap loom." |
