Description | Rounded conical bowl. Coiled construction, carved. Pattern terracotta and burnished black. Inside burnished black. An eating bowl, for individual portions of sago pudding. Supported by a woven fiber ring when in use. All-over pattern of large spirals, ten in all, with oval centers of burnished black. All but two and a half of the terracotta spirals are textured with punctate slashes. Design unfinished? |
