Description

Pottery. Rim chipped and extensive abrasions. Fabric of medium fine texture, black at core, outer surface orange. Handmade, except for foot and rim which were finished on the wheel. High polish as far as neck on outside of vase. Upper surface of rim grooved. Ledge at base of rim, where the separately made neck was joined to body. Both neck and foot asymmetrically placed.
