Description

Hanging scroll by Mori Sosen (1747-1821), 森 狙仙, depicting three gibbons on a rock near a waterfall. The painting is signed Sosen hitsu and has a seal. The accompanying box has an inscription from the original collector dated to 1854 (12th month, Year of the Tiger).
