Description

Sarinda. Dark heavy wood with parchment head over lower part of body. Geometric designs carved on back of body. Bird carved on top of peg-box. Three strings, lateral pegs. Ivory nut, ebony movable bridge. Bow is light brown wood with thin metal caps on ends, black hair fastened to stick by ring at one end and two rings and red cloth strap at other end. Condition of fiddle is good except that parchment is cracked. Bow is in fair condition - hair is loose.
