| Description | Cepker (チェプケレ). Shoe made of salmon skin (Oncorhynchus keta). These types of shoes were usually worn during the winter months to protect the Ainu from the cold. The shoes would have been worn with socks made from lobed elm tree leaves known as ohyonire (Ulmus laciniata Mayr). |
