紅花. Safflower. Flowers of the Hibiscus Rosa-sinensis. A tonic, also used as a red dye principally for dyeing silk. From Sichuan province. Value at Hankou, $75 per picul. Red material. One of a collection of samples of Chinese medicine, each in an individual glass jar sealed with cork top.
