Description

Man's cloth (selimut). Three loom widths. Homespun cotton. Central panel white, with red, blue and yellow hooked diamond designs in discontinuous supplementary weft. At each end two broad lateral bands of red, yellow and blue stripes (technique?). Side panels with warp stripes in yellow and orange, stripes patterned similarly to the central panel, and narrow stripes of dark blue alternating float figures of lizards or crocodiles. Twisted fringes. Same Gittinger ref.
