Description

Fragment of a column from the palace of Merenptah. Raised relief decoration. At the top is an image of the goddes Maat, seated upon a basket, being offered by the hands of the king, facing right. At the bottom is a small epigraph which appears to read "rdj nswt n nb ...," "The King offers to the lord..."
