Description | Fragment of a column from the palace of Merenptah. Raised relief decoration. At the right is the head and shoulders of the god Ptah. At the center is the upper portion of Ptah's composite scepter, consisting of an ankh above a djed pillar. At the left are two vertical borderlines, one probably representing Ptah's shrine. |
