Description | Fragment of a faience bowl, reassembled from six pieces, labeled A-F. Some of the fragments seem to have been vitrified in the firing process, and have a red, iridescent appearance. Ouside edge of the rim has impressed, scalloped modeling. Lotus-petal decoration on the exterior, mostly occluded. Marsh scene on the interior, with plants growing out of a square pond. |
