Sommerville: Sardonyx. Aesculapius. Gold and Silver Rings - Cameos, Case OOO.

Vermeule: Sardonyx. Cameo. (Modern gold ring setting) Draped bust of a young man with very curly hair to right. Sommerville identifies subject as Aesculapius, but the design does not follow classical iconography. Neo-Classic.
