Description | Inscribed ink. Fragment of linen mummy wrapping containing text and vignette from the Book of the Dead. This fragment has 2 columns of hieratic text – 5 lines on the right and 4 on the left. In the center is a vignette showing a male figure standing before a benu bird (heron) and a human-headed ba bird perched on a plinth. Black ink. |
