Description | -Half of bottom and base of thick dark brown glass bottle – glass is very thick, maybe 14” in some parts, especially near the base. Glass is so dark as to appear opaque unless held up against the light. Half of base is missing, but shows cone-shaped projection into body of glass, more rounded than not. Pontil mark (slight) on base – but broken and see all of it. There is some kind of design etched into base but not very distinct – can’t make it out. Body of glass (what there is) is smooth with many nicks, scars across the surface – jagged broken edge. [2014] |
