Description | -Bottom and base of green glass bottle (perhaps wine bottle). Base is similar to #12 [?] and #13 [?] in that it has a rim that the body extends out of, while the rest of the base forms a large, flattish cone projection upwards into glass (a result of pontil adjustments). This (one projection is large → extends a good 2 ½-3” into bottom of bottle → and has a counter-cone that extends downward back toward the base. Body of bottle is smooth, made of thick glass like previous 2, but due to color, does appear opaque. Inside of base there is debris encrusted around cone projection of base. No distinguishing marks/writing. [2014] |
