Description | Carved shark on pedestal. Part of a curio carving consisting of this shark (iri sp.), holding in its open jaws a canoe (67-5-37A) with a man (67-5-37B) inside. Black, inlaid with triangular pieces of shell. Top fin, tip of tail fin, and tips of jaws broken off. Carved by Aiwosuga of Natagera village. |
