Description

Fragment of cloth. Warp: \ wool; red. Weft: \ wool; red Technique: Cloth, with bands of bare warps. The bare warps are orange rather than red. This may show that the textile was dyed in the cloth and not before weaving. (The band which has perished would keep the warps from absorbing much color.)
