Case

Black and white leather case for a sword. White portion has a checkered board plus sign inside a circle and flower. Both in gold. Opposite side has two gold plus signs and one flower. Upper end has two leather loops and one leather strap whre it would attached to a belt. Tag labeled "#37" found with object. Kuyo family crest (mon) made of circles surrounding a larger circle. Ishi-datami (flagstone) family crest (mon) in the shape of four squares representing stones inside a circle. The case most likely held a samurai sword.
