Description | Attached note reads, "From original tag: 6 poles or stakes, wood. No number. Each pointed at one end, hole at other end; bark has been incised. Small pieces of leather straps indicating that stakes were possibly used as fencing. Probably from Mexico. Aprrox. L: 164.5cm. Includes 1 stack, notched at both ends; flattened piece of wood, small scrap of leather strapping. Found with 6 poles. 12/2/92 RMM" |
