Description

Board for Wah Way (花會 Hua Hui/ Hua Hoey) Lottery, also known as the Game of the 36 animals. Board, painted white, with red border and lines forming 36-square grid, in which Chinese characters representing 36 animals/mythical personages are painted in black. In four interlocking pieces, of which this is the second. Includes 1/3 of first column, all of second, 1/3 of third. Good condition. Fifth piece, with right-hand border, is missing.
