Description | Square shaped wooden pigment box with lid; entire box is decorated with carved interlocking parrallel lines; slanted rim of both lid and box; a knobn with a flat top(faint cross hatch pattern) protrudes from center of lid; hole above knob, a second hole found directly below on base; a piece of twisted fiber attaches lid to box , knot tied at each end; base of box has a smooth surface except for carvings of two double lined ovals found opposite of one and other-top and bottom; incised horizontal lines on the left and right side of base; interior of base has a red hue, red pigment caked on the interior of lid; exterior of object is dark brown in color.
