Description | Carved wooden, square shaped box with lid; geometric pattern is ornamentally carve on lid of crosshatch containing triangles, parallel zigzag lines and interlacing diamonds;knob protrudes from center of lid; hole directly above this on slanted rim, a second hole is found directly below this on the bottom of the box; two strands of twisted plant fiber are tied through these two holes, ends tied and knotted to form a loop; patterns on sides of box have worn down; bottom of box is plain except for a square carve on the bottom; exterior of box is of a dark brown and interior has a red hue from pigment it once contained.
