Description

Gendang. Cylindrical, double-headed drum. Wood painted black with red diamonds at one end, red circles at the opposite end, and traces of large, green diamonds in the center. Drum heads made from hide and lashed with long, leather ties. One rattan peel ring around each head secures the lashing. Plant fiber rope attached.
