Description | Long iron spearhead with backwards-pointing barbs. Tip is round in section. From ca. 7cm from point, blade is rectangular in section, with barbs cut on diagonally-opposed edges. At base of blade is cross design with splayed feet, formed by notches similar to the way the barbs were formed. each point of the side cross-feet is actually made of two points, one from each side's grooves. haft is rounded and seamed on one edge. Seam meets almost all the way to the bottom. Good condition: some rusting in area of barbs. |
