Description | Pottery vessel in the shape of a duck with a separate stopper in the shape of a smaller duck. The buff colored surface is shiny and has black painted lines to simulate the duck's feathers, as well as other stylized adornments around the neck and vessel opening on the duck's back. The feet of duck are painted red and there is something illegible written in pencil on the left foot. The head is painted black and red with a loop on top, possibly to be hung from something, and a hole in the duck's bill to act as a spout. The smaller duck stopper is broken and only the body remains. |
