Description | This vessel exhibits a very wide range of firing colors, born to orange to grey. The neck is short and flares to a direct rim that is nibbled away on one side. There is a carination at the waist. There are two horizontal perforated lug handles (opposing) set high on the shoulder at an angle of about 45 degrees. There is a low disc base which is oval in shape and slightly concave. Some horizontal burnishing is visible on the exterior. There is one irregular small hole in the lower body of the pot. |
