Description

Plaid sarong (tembe paleka). Made from coarse cotton (kafa galia), with local indigo dye and commercial rose and orange dyes. Hand sewn. Made in 1982, Mbawa village. Black, with light orange and white balanced plaid. Rose back panel. Purple border stripes.
