| Description | Fragment of a turkey feather robe comprised of turkey feathers connected with rope/cord. Found in drawer with similar object, CG2002-2-86 , which is from the Wetherill/Hazzard-Hearst Collection. Stored in a cardboard box. Notes on box read: "Bottom - No. 49 - fragment of turkey feather robe - fair condition" & "Middle - no number - found with piece labelled B/1 - small turkey feather robe (complete?) but only quills remain." & "Top - B/1 - robe of white fur and turkey feathers - unusual twining pattern of soft fiber base - (apocynum?) condition fair". |
