Description | Dance anklet made from wool thread on a cloth backing. The design is made from nine horizontal bands wrapped with colored thread. The design is of two central diamonds in yellow and red bordered by black and surrounded by triangles in white, yellow, green, red, and blue. The bands of design are sewn onto a plain, white, cloth backing. Two buckskin straps are attached at each end of the anklet to serve as ties. The buckskin straps have traces of red dye. |
