Arrow Point

Arrow point. Wood. Bottom half slightly flattened; 9.5 cm. wrapped with narrow strip of rattan peel or vine, blackened and encrusted; two pairs of shallow, sharp reversed barbs; oval swelling with 3 and 5 notches; three large sharp hooked barbs (2 broken), staggered with opposing groups of 3 and 4 shallow barbs. At base of tip, small opposing sharp barbs. Red, black and white pigment in horizontal rings and on barbs.
