Description | Almost square in section. Flat lid, ridge at one end, raised end formerly at opposite edge (now broken off). Nail holes in center. Sides made of kerfed and bent piece of wood, nailed at fourth corner. Bottom nailed on. Front edge of bottom thicker. Hole in upper corners of each side. (Scrap of string in two.) Decoration: layer of wood planed from corners on out-side surface. Horizontal parallel grooving on front, plain borders. |
