Description | Round; slightly flaring sides; bottom has plain twining; rest is wrapped twining. Rim: slightly inset from body and consists of a short neck made of a splint and topped with a braided edge. With lid on sides are even. Bottom: marsh (?) grass (also warps and stiff weft) Flexible weft of squaw grass. Decoration: single row of purple is arround body with spaced parallelograms in red then purple hanging to it. Lid: edged with purple, purple center with edges in points. |
