Description | Woman's work basket. Spruce root, twined with false embroidery. Design on basket: cross and "Tatoo", "Crossing" and "fireweed" on lid. Rattle in lid. Technical notes: twined, close twined, two-strand, in-between weave (with plain), three-strand, wrapped weft ("false embroidery"); 9 warps and 15 wefts per square inch. |
